Martyn Pedler is a writer and critic based in Melbourne, Australia, regularly writing about comic books, film, TV, dance, and other kinds of popular culture. He recently spent a few years writing comedy for Australian television, and is currently completing a Ph.D. on superhero stories called X-Ray Vision at the University of Melbourne. His short stories were the basis of an exhibition at Melbourne's City Museum in 2008, and one of those stories – ‘A Perfect Empty Street’ – contained the premise of EXIT, his first feature screenplay.
